Shiloh
is a 2 yo male.   Both he and his brother were dumped at the shelter.  The two boys wound up with different rescues and now Shiloh is trying to find his confidence in this great big world.  He is lightning fast and LOVES the tennis ball and might excel in the flyball world.  He is not always willing to share his toys so would probably do best in an only dog home or with an experienced handler.  He is very gentle and watches life through big expressive brown eyes.

I am still getting to know Shiloh so check back for regular updates.  At this point I do know that he is a gentle cuddly dog and has excellent house manners.

Shiloh has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is heartworm negative, on preventative and has no apparent health issues. He is being fostered near Ann Arbor, MI.  For more information on this sweet, loving, playful boy, contact Kathy at kathyjimmyelyse@hotmail.com or go to our website at www.comebyebcrescue.petfinder.org to fill out an on-line application.

Shiloh is a really good looking guy.  He is on the small size, about 32 pounds and has a nice medium coat, (you know, not too long and not too short), mainly black.  He has very expressive and intelligent eyes.

He very much likes to be with us and is very good in the house, will settle nicely and does not chew.  He did mark a couple of times the first day but stopped as soon as corrected and has not tried again since.  He loves to be brushed and petted.  This intelligent fellow learns quickly, has nice manners, has been gentle so far.   Shiloh shows a great willingness to please.

Shiloh was not well when he first came to us and was not very active, but as he is getting to feel better he is getting more active and I think he will make a very nice active companion.  He is probably a good candidate for agility.  He plays ball but not Frisbee and is very good with our female bc mix.  He and my male bc are having a little trouble adjusting to each other, but I have seen Shiloh with other males and they are okay.   Shiloh has an appointment with the vet this week for neuter surgery which should help the situation.

We have not seen him with children yet, but I think he will do fine with them.   He thinks the cat is totally intriguing and likes to keep an eye on her and follow her around but has never shown any aggression toward her.  She thinks “he is a dog.”   Our experience with Shiloh so far has been a good one.
