Come Bye Border Collie Rescue adult dogs offered for adoption have been heartworm tested and are on heartworm preventative, spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and, in season, on flea/tick preventative.
Come Bye Border Collie Rescue puppies are wormed for intestinal parasites, received their age appropriate vaccines and are microchipped. If too young to spay or neuter, the adopter will agree to spay or neuter the puppy as a part of the adoption, along with the payment of an additional $100 deposit.
Please note this dog's foster home Location is included on this page, but you must go through the adoption process and be approved prior to doing a meet and greet with the foster dog.
Miah is a beautiful, affectionate 2-year-old female with a heart full of love. Her foster mom says she’s never had a dog as sweet and cuddly as Miah! She absolutely adores attention, often using her little heeler paw to gently grab your arm for more pets and body rubs.
This smart girl is potty trained—she’ll pace by the door when she needs to go out. She also walks well on a leash and gets along great with other dogs, making her an excellent companion.
Miah’s journey started when a Good Samaritan found her sitting motionless along a busy road near Central Indiana. Concerned for her well-being, they brought her to a shelter—only to be surprised when she gave birth to five puppies! Knowing that a shelter was no place for a new mother and her babies, she was quickly transported to a foster home in Plymouth, IN, where she could safely care for her little ones.
Now that her puppies are grown, it’s Miah’s turn to find a loving forever home. She’s ready to soak up all the love and attention a family can give—could that be you?
